On March 14, 2026, the vibrant atmosphere of the Centre de l'Activité Physique et Sportive at Université Du Québec in Trois-Rivières was electrified by the 2026 Invitation Trois-Rivières (Qualification #2) Taekwondo competition. A total of 516 participants gathered, ready to showcase their skills and determination in a spirited display of martial arts.
The event featured a myriad of categories across various age groups, including Cadet, Jeune, U9, Junior, and Senior divisions. Athletes competed fiercely for medals, aiming to secure their place in the rankings and earn recognition for their training and dedication.
Top clubs included Académie de Taekwondo de Québec, Club de Taekwondo Repentigny, and Club de Taekwondo CRSA. The best coaches recognized for their athletes' success were Luc Pinsonnault, Laurent O'Brien, and Jonathan Prince. Standout athletes included Adam Mouhoudin, Anna Gagnon-Gukhool, and Arthur Chambost.
Triumphing in the competition was the Académie de Taekwondo de Québec, amassing an impressive total of 14 gold medals, alongside 10 silver and 1 bronze. Among the star athletes, Adam Mouhoudin stood out with two gold medals, showcasing his exceptional talent and hard work.
The day was a testament to the spirit of competition and camaraderie within the Taekwondo community, leaving participants and spectators alike filled with excitement for future events.
